Softball Opens 2023 NJCAA D1 World Series against Gordon State

The Wrangler Softball team will open play at the 2023 NJCAA D1 Softball World Series tomorrow at noon against Gordon State (GA).
Odessa (51-4) is the #1 seed in this year's tournament while Gordon State (23-22) is the #16 seed. The Wranglers are making their third straight appearance in the World Series and are coming off a third-place finish at last year's tournament.
The winner of the #1 Odessa vs. #16 Gordon State will play the winner of #8 Butler (KS) vs. #9 College of Southern Idaho at 2pm on Wednesday May, 24th.
The 2023 NJCAA D1 Softball World Series will be played at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, AL May 23rd through the 27th. The double elimination tournament is comprised of 16 teams from across the country.
