Archery

Have fun learning the basics of archery so you can hit the bull’s-eye every time! Campers will participate in target practice using compound and long bows, learn the history of archery and make their own decorative arrow they can take home!

Ages 8 - 12yrs

Basketball - Coed

Beginner

In this intro to basketball camp, we’ll be learning all the basics of the game; from catching, passing and dribbling to game rules and how to play as a team!

Ages 7 - 10yrs

Advanced

Camp will focus on improving overall basic skills, and learning how to be successful on the court using strategy and teamwork.

Camp Runamuckus

Sports, Games and FUN! Campers will stay active all day as we learn a variety of sports, play fun games such as Pac Man Tag, and go on awesome field trips, like bowling and laser tag! Each afternoon also ends with a swim in the Indoor Pool.

*The type of sports, games and field-trip activities will vary per session. Morning only sessions do not include swimming.

Conversational Spanish

Learn how to engage in conversational Spanish through music, storytelling, and arts and crafts such as piñatas, maracas, sombreros and floresitas! Each session will cover a different vocabulary topic and any associated words.

Golf

Let’s head to the driving range! Campers will learn how to putt and chip, and use a full swing to send the ball flying!

Indoor Running Club

Get ready to run and beat the heat! Using our indoor facilities, campers will focus on long distance running techniques, endurance training, and how to run safely; 100, 200, 400 and 800 distances.

Grades 1st - 5th

GOALLLLLLLL! Campers will run skills and conditioning drills and play practice games, as well as learn game rules and how to play as a team.

Moves and Grooves Dance

Let’s Dance! We’ll be moving and grooving as we learn multiple types of dance such as hip hop and jazz, going over beginner skills, and of course having FUN dancing to the beat all week! No prior experience needed. All music is age appropriate.

Snack Attack

Get ready for some good (and GOOD for you) snacks this summer as our OC Culinary staff use fresh ingredients to teach campers how to create fun, and delicious snacks they can make at home (with parental supervision)!

Tennis

Game, Set, Match! Campers will hit the courts to learn basic skills such as forehand and backhand swings, and overall game rules, while playing a variety of skills games to keep them active and having fun! Tennis rackets are provided.

Get ready to get to work on the court! Campers will focus improve their skills with passing, overhand serving, conditioning, foot work and learn proper court positioning.

Zombie Preparedness Training

Watch out for zombies! Campers will visit with our Odessa College Police Officers, and a take a trip to our neighbors over at the City of Odessa Fire Station #4, to learn how to properly handle a scavenger hunt around campus, the basics of First Aid and building your own First Aid Kit! We’ll even learn how to blend in as we paint our faces and learn how to walk like a zombie!

Group Swim Lessons - Registration Open Now!

Group swim lessons run Monday – Thursday for 2 weeks. All children will do a skills test on the 1st day of lessons and then be grouped with those of similar skill levels. Private lessons are available. Please see the Private Lessons section of this page below for more details.

Please Note: Week 1 of Pre-School Sessions 1 and 2 and Youth Sessions 1, 2, and 3 will run Tuesday, May 28th – Friday, May 31st due to Memorial Day on May 27th. Week 2 will stay as Monday – Thursday.

Available for individual lessons and small groups of up to 3 people. Ages 3yrs and up.

Available for individual and small groups. Open to ages 5yrs and up.

Lesson content will depend on skill level.

Kids Fitness Summer Pass

Kids Fitness Summer Pass includes access to the Indoor Pool and Water Slide, and Kids Fitness classes.

Join in the fun with this beat pumping dance fitness workout for kids! Kids will be rocking to Latin beats such as salsa, cumbia and Merengue!

Kids Battle Ropes                            

Get ready to feel the burn using Battle Ropes to increase kids overall strength and cardio fitness levels!

Kid’s Fun & Fitness                                        

Come get active with a variety of activities that kids love such as kickball, hula hoops, jump ropes, obstacle courses, and more! 

Drum Core                                        

Calling all drummers! Feel the beat and work out those muscles as the kids use drumsticks and stability balls to build their strength and conditioning AND have a blast getting fit!

Adventure Games                                   

Join us for some indoor/outdoor fun, full of active team-building activities and games where kids will learn how to problem solve, build trust, work together and get to know new friends!
