Clarksville, TN – The Odessa College Volleyball team will open play at the 2024 NJCAA D1 Volleyball Championship on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00pm. The Wranglers are the #7 seed in the tournament and will face Missouri State West Plains the #10 seed in the first round of the tournament.

NJCAA D1 Volleyball Championship Notes:

• This will be the second consecutive year the Wranglers have made the National Tournament under Head Coach Dayana Acevedo Rios.
• The is the second consecutive year Odessa is the NJCAA Southwest District B Champion.
• Odessa will be making their fourth trip in program history. (2019, 2021, 2023, 2024)
• This will be the third meeting all time between Odessa and Missouri St. West Plains. The teams split the two previous meetings in 2021 and 2015.
• Familiar Faces: Odessa has faced nine of the 16 teams in this year's National Tournament

• Texas Flare: Odessa is one of five teams from the state of Texas in the National Tournament
• The 2024 D1 Volleyball Championship runs from Wednesday, November 20^th through Saturday, November 23^rd
