The Odessa College Volleyball team will travel to Roswell, NM this weekend to compete at the NJCAA Region 5 Volleyball Championship.  The double elimination tournament begins on Thursday, November 7^th and end on Saturday, November 9^th.  The winner and runner-up will receive an automatic bid to the NJCAA D1 Volleyball Championships.

The tournament features the top four teams from the WJCAC and the top four teams from the NTJCAC. The Wranglers are the #2 seed in the West and will face the #3 seed Temple from the North at 2:00pm on Thursday.

The winner of that game will advance the semi-finals on Friday at 12:00pm and face the winner of #1 seed from the North Weatherford and the #4 seed from the West Frank Phillips.

The winner and runner-up of the Region 5 Championship will receive an automatic bid to the NJCAA D1 Volleyball Championship in Clarksville, TX November 20^th through the 23^rd.
