The Odessa College Wrangler Volleyball team opens the 2023 season this Friday and Saturday as they travel to Roswell, NM to play in the NMMI Classic.

The Wranglers will play a pair of ranked opponents in the opening weekend, #9 Utah State Eastern and #13 Eastern Arizona.

Odessa opens play at 10am on Friday against #9 Utah State Eastern and plays again at 4pm against South Mountain (AZ). The Wrangler will play twice on Saturday as well when they face #13 Eastern Arizona at 11am and will wrap up play at the NMMI Classic at 3pm against Tyler Junior College (TX).

Odessa is coming off of a 25-8 overall record last season where they went 10-4 in Western Junior College Athletic play. The Wranglers return seven players off of last years squad and welcome in ten new faces to the program.

Following the NMMI Classic, the Wrangler will return home for their first home games of the season as the host the Odessa Invitational August 25^th and 26^th at the OC Sports Center.
