The Odessa College women's golf team shot +35 over three rounds, finishing second at the NJCAA Southwest District Championship in Sun City West, AZ.

With their second-place finish, the Wranglers have qualified for the NJCAA D1 Women's Golf Championship. That tournament will be held in Garden City, KS at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course May 8^th through the 12^th.

Individually, Odessa had three players finish in the top 15. Claudia Alnajim Revuelta finished tied for 4^th, Rylie Rodriguez finished 7^th, and Ailsa Brannock finished tied for 13^th.

Odessa College and Western Texas College will represent the WJCAC and Region 5 at the National Tournament after finishing in the top two in the District Championship.

In their first season, the Wrangler Women's Golf team will be making a trip to the NJCAA D1 Women's Golf Championship.
