The Wrangler women's basketball team defeated Clarendon College 87-49 on Friday afternoon in the Region 5 semifinals.
Odessa used a strong third quarter to pull away scoring 28 points out of the halftime break.
Three Wranglers scored in double figures, lead by Tia Shelling who scored 25 points off the bench for Odessa.
With the victory, Odessa advances to the Region 5 Championship Game on Saturday afternoon at 2:00pm against Collin College.
Collin defeated NMJC 78-69 in the other semifinal game to advance to Saturday afternoon.
The winner of the Region 5 Championship game will punch their ticket to the NJCAA D1 Women's Basketball Championship in Casper, WY.
