Bio
Alexis Hamilton enters her second season as the Pitching/Assistant Softball Coach for the Wrangler Softball program.
In Coach Hamilton’s first season, she helped lead the Wranglers to a 43-14 season, winning the WJCAC conference and the regional tournament, while continuing to make it to the NJCAA Division 1 National Tournament. Coach Hamilton helped coach 9 All-Conference Players and 2 All-Conference Pitchers.
Coach Hamilton is a native from El Paso, Texas. She played softball at the University of Texas at El Paso, transferred to Temple College and finished off her softball career at Colorado Christian University. In her seasons at Colorado Christian University, coach Hamilton won two championship rings as she broke school’s records along the way. Hamilton pitched the first no-hitter in school history while also achieving to get the most shutouts in a single season her junior year. Hamilton received All-State and All-American honors throughout her years of playing softball along with receiving academic awards. Hamilton graduated with an associates degree in pre-med and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and criminal justice.
High School: Newcomer of the Year, First Team All-District, El Paso All City Team Second Team, Canutillo High School Softball 2015 MVP as a freshman, awarded Defensive player of the Year, First Team All-District, El Paso Times Co-Softball Player of the Year, Canutillo High School Softball 2016 MVP, awarded Co-Pitcher of the Year, First Team All-District, El Paso All City Team First Team, Coronado High School Softball 2017 Co- MVP, awarded Most Valuable Player, First Team All-District, El Paso All City First Team, 2018 El Paso Fast pitch Softball Hall of Fame Player of the Year for 6A.
