Midland College
The #4 ranked Wrangler Softball team extended their winning streak to 14 games and stayed undefeated in WJCAC play with a four game sweep of Midland College this weekend.
Odessa outscored Midland 38-5 in the four game series pounding out 49 hits on the weekend while allowing only 12 hits. Rayna Cruickshanks and Emily Brouse both threw shutouts in games one and four.
Friday's wins both came by run rule as OC won game one 10-0 and game two 10-2, both in five innings. Saturday was much of the same as the Wranglers won 11-3 and 7-0. Brooke Nauman, Ari Ybarra, Clarissa Zapata, and Kawehi Ili all homered on Saturday, both Nauman and Ybarra hit two.
Odessa will now shift their focus to this weekend as they host Howard College on Friday at the Wrangler Softball Complex. Those games will be televised on ESPN+
