The Wrangler Rodeo Team continued their strong showing this spring at the Howard College Rodeo last weekend.

Odessa sent six cowboys and one cowgirl back to the finals on Saturday night.

Emily Rafftery continued her hot streak in the Barrel Racings placing fifth in the average. This was the second consecutive weekend Emily qualified for the finals.

Hayden Welsh extended his streak to four consecutive rodeos by qualifying for the finals in the Bull Riding. His 75 point ride in the long round and his 83 point ride in the finals secured him third place in the event.

Odessa will take a week off before returning to action for the final rodeo of the spring April 24th through the 26th at Tarleton State University.
