The Wrangler Men's Basketball team is moving on to the Elite Eight after a 58-56 victory over Vincennes at the National Tournament.
Jordan Ray's put back dunk with 20.1 seconds left was the difference as the Wranglers advance.
Odessa trailed by one going into halftime but outscored the Trailblazers 31-28 in the second half.
Willie Lightfoot lead all scoring with 25 points and Brandon Maclin added 12 of his own.
With the victory, Odessa moves to the Elite Eight for the third consecutive year in a row.
The Wranglers will face the winner of #5 Indian Hills (IA) and #21 Wallace State (AL) at 5:00pm on Wednesday.
