The Odessa College men's basketball team maintained its undefeated start in Western Junior College Athletic Conference play with a 75-69 win over Western Texas College Thursday.
Daniel Rivera led the Wranglers with 14 points in the victory, while Dian Wright-Forde and Daniss Jenkins contributed 10 points each.
Odessa College had to overcome an eight-point deficit after the first half and did so by outscoring the Westerners 42-28 in the second period.
Wright-Forde and Dontrell Hewlett played a big role in helping the Wranglers jump ahead, scoring 16 combined points in the second half.
The Wranglers (12-5 overall, 3-0 WJCAC) continue conference play against New Mexico Military Institute at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Roswell, N.M.
