The Odessa College Wrangler Rodeo Team finished off their five-spring rodeo season this past weekend at Tarleton State. Odessa had a strong showing this spring in four of the five college rodeos.

The Wranglers finished sixth in the team standings at both the Odessa and Western Texas Rodeos and placed seventh the past weekend in Tarleton.

They had their highest team finish this spring at the Howard College Rodeo, where they place third overall.

With these strong performances, Odessa finished the season seventh in the standings out of the eighteen teams in the NIRA Southwest Region.

Individually, Bull Rider Toby Deudney qualified for the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, WY in June. Toby placed third at Western Texas, won the Howard College Rodeo and finished fourth at Tarleton State to punch his ticket to Casper.
