The Wrangler Women's and Men's Golf teams opened the spring season at the Cactus Thaw tournament at Painted Dunes Golf Course in El Paso, TX.

The Women's team won the tournament by 22 strokes over UTPB. Individually, Claudia Alnajim Revuelta and Ailsa Brannock tied for first place at +10. Rylie Rodriguez finished 7^th at +17, Rachel Seal finished tied for 8^th at +21, and Zara Houghton finished 14^th at +23. This is the first tournament championship for the Wranglers this spring.

The Men's Team finished second at +35 over three rounds. OC was the highest finishing NJCAA school at the event. Individually, Laurenz Kubin finished second at even par, Alexander Topgaard finished 6^th at +7, and Rohan Miah finished tied for 14^th at +12.
