Volleyball – Traveled to Brenham, TX to compete at the Kruse Classic hosted by Blinn College. The Wranglers went 3-1 on the weekend. The defeated #18 Navarro College, Victoria College, and #9 Blinn College. They lost in five sets to Trinity Valley Community College.

Odessa is now 11-2 overall and will travel to Hobbs, NM this weekend to play in the NMJC Classic. The Wranglers will take on Otero (CO), Blinn #14, Trinidad State (CO), and Tyler. The NMJC Classic will be the last non-conference games of the season. Odessa will open Western Junior College Athletic Conference play at home on Wednesday September 14^th at 6pm against Western Texas College.

Player of the Week(s): The OC Volleyball team has had two players named WJCAC Offensive Player of the Week so far this season. Daniella Rodriguez and Myllena Torquetti were both named players of the week in consecutive weeks.
In the Poll: The Wranglers are ranked #8 in this week's NJCAA D1 Volleyball Poll. Odessa has already played six ranked opponents this year going 5-1. This will be the second meeting of the season between the Wranglers and both Blinn and Tyler. OC defeated Tyler at the NMMI Classic and beat Blinn at the Kruse Classic.

Women's Golf – The OC Women's Golf team will play in their first tournament in school history this weekend as they travel to Amarillo, TX. The Wranglers will compete in the West Texas A&M Fall Invitational at Tascosa County Club.

Men's Golf – The Wranglers will travel to Andrews, TX this weekend to compete in the Andrews Collegiate/Am. Teams from across Texas will compete in the 36 hole competition.

Baseball – OC Baseball will begin their fall scrimmage schedule on Friday as they travel to Weatherford, TX to play in the Weatherford College Fall Tournament. The Wranglers will face Tyler Junior College and Howard College.
