Volleyball opens WJCAC Play vs. Western Texas on BLUE OUT NIGHT

The #4 ranked Wrangler Volleyball team begins Western Junior College Athletic Conference play this Wednesday when they host Western Texas at 6pm at the OC Sports Center.

Odessa enters the match with a record of 15-1 and are currently on a six-game winning streak. Offensively, the Wranglers are led by Devyn Lewis (3.71 kills per set) and Kayla Williams (2.96 kills per set). Jade Cuya leads Odessa in assists with 425 averaging just over 8 assists per set. On the defensive side, libero Camila Canedo is averaging 5.35 digs per set.

Western Texas is currently 10-7 heading into WJCAC play. The Westerners are 2-4 in their last six matches. D'Mya Hill leads Western in kills at 3.37 per set, setter Rachel White is averaging 4.68 assists per set, and libero Lauren Fuller is averaging just over 6 digs per set.

Wednesday nights game will be a BLUE OUT inside the OC Sports Center. Fans in attendance are asked to show up in their best OC Blue.

The Wrangler Room will be open to current 2023-24 Wrangler Club Members and will be serving free popcorn and a drink during the match.
