Volleyball Closes Out Regular Season with Pair of Home Games
The Wrangler Volleyball team will close out the 2022 regular season with a pair of home games this week at the OC Sports Center. OC is currently 22-7 overall at 8-4 in WJCAC play. The Wranglers are currently tied for fourth in the WJCAC standings.
OC will host Clarendon College at 6pm on Wednesday. Clarendon is currently 3-22 overall and 0-12 in WJCAC play. OC swept the Bulldogs in straight sets in their previous meeting this year.
On Saturday, OC will host Midland College at 2pm in the final game of the regular season. Saturday's game will be Sophomore Day and the "Dig Pink" match. Saturday's match will have large implication in the conference standings as Midland currently sits one game ahead of the Wranglers. In their previous meeting this season, OC defeated Midland in a five-set thriller.
The Wranglers will look to finish on a high note heading into the Region 5 West Conference Tournament. The tournament will be held November 4th and 5th in Roswell, NM at New Mexico Military Institute.
