The Wrangler Volleyball team opened the 2022 season with an impressive showing this past weekend at the NMMI Classic in Roswell, NM going undefeated in their five matches.
On Friday, OC defeated #10 Northeastern JC (CO) in straight sets 3-0 (25-20,38-36,25-11), Pima Community College (AZ) 3-2 (24-26,25-12,25-14,23-25,15-10), and #13 Tyler Junior College 3-0 (25-16,25-19,25-23).
Thing were much of the same on Saturday as the Wranglers moved their record to 5-0 with a pair of straight set victories over South Mountain CC (AZ) 3-0 (25-17,25-15,25-13) and Eastern Arizona (25-17,25-23,25-18).
Odessa will now shift their focus to hosting the OC Invitational this weekend August 25th through the 27th at the OC Sports Center. Teams from Texas, New Mexico, Florida, Utah, and Iowa will compete on two courts over the weekend.
