Bio

Lawriell Wilson "Coach Lo" begins her first season as an Assistant Coach for the Odessa College Women's Basketball Program. 

Wilson comes to Odessa after spending the last four years coaching high school basketball in Louisiana. She spent two years at West Jefferson High School and two years at Edna Karr High School. 

The New Orleans, LA native graduated from Warren Easton Charter High School in 2014 where she played under Darius Mimms. During her time a Warren Easton she was named All-State, All-Metro and was named MVP. 

After high school. Lawriell attended Tallahassee Community College where she played under current Wrangler Head Coach Franqua Bedell. In her first season at TCC she was named Florida Panhandle Conference Freshman of the Year, frist team All-Conference and was a member of the All Freshman team. In her sophomore season at TCC she was named the Florida State Player of the Year, inducted into the womens basketball hall of fame, named to the All Panhandle Conference Team and was named an NJCAA All-American. 

Wilson transferred to the University of Central Florida to continue her playing career where she graduated in 2019 with a degree in interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Sociology.
