Casper, WY – The Wrangler Women's Basketball Team will open play in the 2024 National Tournament at 10:15pm on Wednesday night against North Dakota SCS who knocked off Eastern Florida 54-46 on Tuesday.
- Odessa is the #7 seed and receives a first-round bye in the national tournament.
- Odessa is returning to the national tournament for the first time since 2019.
- 1st trip to the national tournament under Coach "Q".
- This will be the first meeting ever between Odessa and North Dakota State College of Science.
- The Wranglers have faced 5 other team in this year's field. #4 Collin, #8 NMJC, #9 Trinity Valley, #16 Cochise, & #18 Dodge City.
- The winner will advance to the Elite Eight on Friday March 29th at 3:15pm against the winner of #2 Wabash Valley and #18 Dodge City.
- This will be the first year the NJCAA D1 Women's Basketball National Tournament will be played in Casper, WY
