The Wrangler Softball team opened the 2022 season at the Island Invitational this past weekend in Houston. Odessa went 2-2 in the four games played.
On Saturday, Odessa lost 5-2 to San Jacinto College and beat Blinn College 11-5.
On Sunday, the Wranglers fell 7-3 to Alvin College then rallied to beat Connors State (OK) 12-9.
The Wranglers will play their first home games of the season the coming weekend as they host the Permian Basin Invitational Thursday through Saturday at the Wrangler Softball Complex.
