Softball Knocked Out Of Region V tournament By Midland College

The Odessa College softball season came to a close with a loss to Midland College in the Region V tournament Sunday.

The Lady Wranglers fell to the Lady Chaparrals 6-4 at Lubbock Christian University, suffering their second loss to their rivals in three days at the tournament.

The two squads were tied 4-4 heading into the seventh inning, but Midland College scored twice in the top half of the frame to earn the win.

OC wraps up its 2017 campaign with a 39-16 record.
