Softball Hosts teams from Idaho, Colorado, and Texas
The Odessa College Wranglers hosted a tournament Friday and Saturday with College of Southern Idaho, Cisco College, Otero College (Colorado), Midland College and Ranger College. The tournament was held on fields at Odessa College as well as the University of Texas Permian Basin.
On Friday, Tiana Faagalulu had a great day at the plate, going 3 for 3 in a win over Otero College. Faagalulu drove in two runs and finished with three runs scored. Winter Ridgeway pitched a complete game and earned a victory in the circle.
Vanessa Muro also made a huge contribution at the plate, going 6 for 7 in the two losses against Cisco and College of Sourthern Idaho earlier on Friday. The Wranglers played a total of six games over the weekend, winning two and losing four.
The Wranglers were scheduled to play in Ranger on Wednesday February 24th, however, that double header has been cancelled.
The Wranglers will play seven games again this weekend, starting with a double header on Thursday, February 25th vs. Pratt Community College (Kansas.) The ladies will again host a nice tournament this weekend, February 26th and 27th on the campus of Odessa College and the University of Texas Permian Basin. The schedule is as follows:
