Golf Team Finishes Runner Up at NJCAA D1 Golf Championship
The Wrangler Men's Golf Team capped off the 2021 season with a Runner Up finish at the 2021 NJCAA D1 Golf Championships last week.
Odessa shot -7 as a team over four rounds to finish second behind Hutchinson Community College (KS) who shot -16 for the tournament. Odessa and Hutchinson were the only two teams to shoot under par in the tournament.
Four Wranglers were named to the NJCAA D1 Golf All-American Teams for their performances. Jose Dibildox and Will Adams were named to the first team, they tied for fourth place in the tournament at -3. Sangha Park finished seventh at even par and Marcelo Garza finished tied for eighth at +1, both of them were named second team.
