The Odessa College golf team carded an 8-under-par 280 Friday to leapfrog Midland College and win the Odessa College Invitational on the Odessa County Club's Links Course.

The Wrangers finished the three-round tournamend with a score of 882 (301-301-280), while Midland College, the first-day leader, came in eight shots back at 890 (300-301-289). New Mexico JC (300-308-288—896) rounded out the top three.

Michael Salzar (72-73-70—215) of Midland College earned the individual crown, with Odessa College's Parker Beaty (74-70-73—217) and Midland College's Callum Bruce (70-77-70—217) finished tied for second.
