The Wrangler Men's Basketball team defeated Weatherford College 58-50 in the 1st Round of the NJCAA Region 5 Tournament.
Odessa was lead by Willie Lightfoot with 14 points. Odessa used constant pressure on the defensive end as Weatherford shot under 30% from the field the entire game.
With the victory, Odessa advances to the semi-finals on Friday to face South Plains College at 5:00pm.
