Wrangler Golf finishes First and Second at High Country Shootout
Both the Wrangler Men's and Women's golf teams brought home some hardware from Ruidoso, NM this past weekend at the High Country Shootout.
The Wrangler women picked up their third team championship of the fall schedule winning by four shots +16 over second place NMJC +20. Individually, Claudia Alnajim Revuelta placed third shooting even par (144) over the two round, 36 hole event.
On the Men's side, Odessa shot -41 under par to tie for second place at the event. Individually, four Wranglers shot in red numbers lead by Sungyeop Cho who finished fifth at -13 (206). Adam Bresnu and Logan Vargas tied for ninth shooting -10 (206).
The Women's team will return to play this weekend as they travel to Amarillo, TX for the West Texas A&M Fall Invite. The Men's team will play their next event on October 15th when they travel to Las Cruces, NM to compete at the Herb Wimberly Invitational.
