The Wrangler Softball and Baseball teams will close out the regular season this weekend at home with a pair of four game series. Softball host Frank Phillips College and baseball welcomes El Paso Community College on Friday and Saturday.

Softball vs. Frank Phillips:

Odessa Softball is ranked #1 in the NJCAA D1 Softball Poll for the second consecutive week. The Wranglers are in first place at 20-0 in WJCAC play and 44-4 overall. Odessa is on a 22-game winning streak heading into the final weekend of conference play.

Frank Phillips is currently in fifth place at 9-11 in conference play and the Plainsmen are 17-20 overall.

First pitch of Fridays double-header at the Wrangler Softball Complex is at 1pm. Game on Saturday will move up one hour and start at noon.

Baseball vs. El Paso:

The Wrangler Baseball will look to hold on to third place in the last weekend of WJCAC play as they host El Paso. Odessa is currently 19-13 in conference play and 31-20 overall. The Wranglers hold a two-game lead on NMMI for third place in the WJCAC standings. Odessa is coming off of a weekend split with Western Texas. 

El Paso is 12-20 in conference play and 26-26 overall coming into the weekend.

Both Friday and Saturdays double-headers will start at noon at the Wrangler Ballpark.
