Wrangler Report : October 4th

Volleyball: Extended their winning streak with a pair of victories this past week. OC defeated Amarillo in straight set (3-0) on Wednesday and went on the road a beat Clarendon (3-0) on Saturday. Wranglers will be on the road this week as they travel to Midland on Wednesday October 5th. That game will be a match-up of the top two teams in the WJCAC as each team is 4-1 in conference play. On Saturday, OC will head to Snyder, TX to take on Western TX at 2pm.
In the Polls: Odessa moved up one spot in the poll to #9 in the NJCAA D1 Volleyball Poll.  

Men's Golf: The Wranglers traveled to Newton, KS this past week to compete in the NJCAA D1 National Preview at Sand Creek Station. OC finished third in the event at +21. Individually, the Wranglers had three players finish in the top 25 in the 15-team tournament.

Women's Golf: OC will travel to Garden City, KS this week to compete at the NJCAA National Preview at Buffalo Dunes. This tournament will feature teams from across the country at the site of the 2023 NJCAA D1 Women's Golf National Tournament.

Baseball: Continues the fall scrimmage schedule traveling to Midland this weekend to scrimmage Howard and Midland College.

Softball: Heads to Abilene for a pair of scrimmages. OC will face Abilene Christian on Friday night and then take on Hardin Simmons on Saturday.

Men's Basketball: Travels on Friday to compete in the Mullins/Mitchell Jamboree in Fort Worth. This will be the first scrimmage date of the year of the Wranglers.

Women's Basketball: OC will head to DFW for the Dave Neely Jamboree.
