Social Wellness Week      November 10th - 16th 

Your goal is to complete at least 1 wellness activity each week from those listed below. Want to do more than one? Please do! 

  

  • Activity #1   Attend a Community or Campus Event  When you attend an event, engage in the conversations being had, and actively listen to what others are saying. Be a part of the event, not just a wallflower. Social Wellness is includes building and maintaining positive and healthy relationships in your community. At the event you attend, take the opportunity to strengthen the connections you have with those around you and/or increase your social network by engaging with those you may not know.
    • Anytime between Sunday, November 10th and Saturday, November 16th.
  • Activity #2   Veterans Day Thank You Card Station  We owe much more than we can give to our Veterans for their service and sacrifice for us and our country. Stop by our table in the Saulsbury Campus Center Foyer and make your own thank you card and/or sign our Thank You Veterans poster. We'll give the cards and poster to our own Veterans Affairs office to distribute to our students and employees in thanks for all they have done. 
    • Monday, November 11th from 11:00AM - 1:00PM in the Saulsbury Campus Center Foyer.
  • Activity #3   Celebrate World Kindness Day  November 13th is World Kindness Day! Celebrate someone in your life that has done you a kindness! Let's spread as much positivity, kindness and love in our community as we can and recognize those around us that have done something special, big or small that made an impact on you personally. You can decide the "shape" of your recognition albeit something public on social media, privately with an honest word of thanks or somewhere in between such as a thank you card. 
    • Anytime on Wednesday, November 13th.
