Freshman, Luisa Silva Dos Santos was named to the NJCAA D1 Volleyball All-American Second Team earlier this week. The Middle Blocker from Belo Horizonte, Brazil racked up some impressive numbers in her first year on the court for the Wrangler Volleyball Team. 

She finished sixth in the nation in total blocks with 161, averaging just under 1.5 blocks per set. She tallied 249 kills that averaged to 2.05 kills per set. 

She was named to the Western Junior College Athletic Conference Volleyball All-Conference Team and was also named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Third Team.
