The Odessa College Women's Basketball Team (22-8, 11-3) will open the NJCAA Region V Basketball Tournament on Thursday, March 5^th at 7pm vs. Hill College (20-10, 10-6).  The Wranglers are the #2 seed from the West, while Hill is the #3 seed from the North.

The 2020 NJCAA Region V Basketball Tournament is held at Moody Coliseum on the campus of Abilene Christian University March 4^th through the 7^th. 

The top four teams from the Western Junior College Athletic Conference and the top four teams from the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference meet in a single elimination tournament.  The winner of the tournament earns an automatic bid to the 2020 NJCAA D1 Women's Basketball Championship in Lubbock, TX March. 17^th-21^st.

With an Odessa victory on Thursday, the Wranglers would play the winner of New Mexico Junior College vs. Collin County Community College on Friday, March 6^th at 7pm with a berth to the championship game on the line.

The Wranglers have won the Region V Tournament the past two years, defeating New Mexico Junior College in the finals in both 2018 (74-53) and 2019 (69-65).
