The #23 ranked women's basketball team travels to Midland, TX this weekend for the annual Midland College Women's National Invitation tournament (WNIT).
The Wranglers (7-2) open the tournament on Thursday, November 21st at 5pm against #3 ranked Trinity Valley (4-0). Odessa is looking to continue their winning ways at the WNIT, as the Wranglers have won the tournament the past three years in row. OC defeated Midland last year in the championship game 61-51.
The tournament features eight of the best women's basketball programs in the country, six of them ranked in the NJCAA D1 Poll this week. Games will be played at the Chaparral Center on the campus of Midland College from Thursday, November 21st through Saturday, November 23rd.
