The Odessa College women's basketball team fell in its WJCAC opener on the road Wednesday to Frank Phillips College 75-65.

Leading Frank Phillips was Kiara Sheals, who had a game-high 33 points. Odessa College (9-3 overall, 0-1 WJCAC) was led by Chinna Fair, who finished with 14 points, as well as Shannon Dozier who ended the game with 12.

The Lady Wranglers were outscored in each quarter except for the final frame of the contest.

Odessa College returns to action Saturday on the road against the University of the Southwest's junior varsity team.
