The Odessa College women's basketball team had a poor shooting night from the field and Salt Lake City Community College took advantage, running away to 59-44 victory in Midland College's WNIT Classic Thursday at the Chaparral Center.

Tanaka Gapare scored 11 points to lead the Lady Wranglers (6-1), who hit just 1-of-18 3-pointers on the night.

Tia Hay scored 13 points to lead three Salt Lake Community City. Ashley Scoggins added 12 points and Emma Villas-Gomis finished with 11 in the victory.
