The Wrangler Softball team is headed to the NJCAA D1 World Series for the second consecutive season after capturing the NJCAA Region 5 West tournament title on Sunday.
Odessa had to take the long route in securing their spot in Yuma, AZ winning all three games they played on Sunday. Defeating Western, TX 6-4 and Howard College twice 7-6 and 12-4.
The 2022 NJCAA D1 Softball National Championship will take place in Yuma, AZ May 24th through the 29th.
Seeding and tournament information will be released early this week.
