Zaccardo and Scott named WJCAC Players of the Week

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 23-29.

Madison Zaccardo of Odessa College is the WJCAC Softball Position Player of the Week.

The sophomore utility player from Lubbock, TX had a .625 batting average for the week with a double, triple, home run, 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

Madi Scott of Odessa College is the WJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman righty from Lockleys, South Australia went 2-0 for the week. In 14 innings, she allowed just 2 earned runs with 9 strikeouts.

The Wrangler Softball team returns to action on March 13th & 14th as they host The University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley at the Wrangler Softball Complex.
