Turner takes home WJCAC Pitcher of the Week Honors....Again

For the second consecutive week Wrangler Pitcher Cori Turner has been selected the WJCAC Pitcher of the Week

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of April 21-27.

Cori Turner of Odessa College is the WJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman righthander from Georgetown, TX went 4-0 for the week. In 20 innings pitched, she allowed just 2 earned runs on 13 hits with 10 strikeouts and 5 walks.

OC will host Frank Phillips College the coming Friday and Saturday to wrap up WJCAC Play with double-headers scheduled for both days.  Games will start at 1pm on Friday and at noon on Saturday at the Wrangler Softball Complex.
