Lady Wranglers Handle Western Texas College For Weekend Sweep

The Odessa College softball team downed Western Texas College 14-3 and 8-0 on the road Saturday to finish a perfect weekend against the Westerners.

The Lady Wranglers won the first two games of the series 7-6 and 12-4 on Friday.

The weekend's wins lifted Odessa College to 34-13 overall on the season, and 20-4 in WJCAC play. The Lady Wranglers sit in second place in the league standings, with just one weekend of play left between them and the NJCAA Region V tournament.

Odessa College will close the regular season with a four-game series starting next Friday at El Paso Community College.
