OC Uses Seven-Inning Rally To Secure Back-To-Back Wins At Midland College Classic

The Odessa College softball team piled on hits and runs to defeat Seward County Community College 16-11 and Barton Community College 13-3 during the Midland College Classic on Saturday.

In the opener, the Lady Wranglers (10-6) rallied with a seven-run seventh inning. Vanessa Muro went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and three runs scored. Brittany Kennett picked up the win in the circle with two scoreless innings of relief.

During the second game, Odessa College mercy-ruled the Cougars after a six-run sixth inning. Taylor Fogle supplied two home runs in the contest and had five RBIs.
