OC softball splits with Clarendon and sweeps FPC
Odessa College split two games on the road at Clarendon College on Saturday, winning the day's opener 10-0 before falling 7-4 in the finale.
The split means Odessa College will take a one-game lead over Midland College in the WJCAC standings.
The Lady Wranglers hold a 41-20 record on the season and a 22-6 record in WJCAC play. That mark puts them in second in the conference behind Howard College (41-15, 22-6).
OC finished off the weekend against Frank Phillips College. The Wranglers defeted FPC in game one 11-8 and 15-2 in game two. The Wranglers have earned a spot in WJCAC tournament and have earned the second seed. OC will recieve a first round bye in this years tournament.
