The Odessa College Women's Rodeo team had another strong appearance in Alpine, Texas for the Sul Ross State University College Rodeo, September 24-26th.  Rylee Jo Dick, once again had a strong performance in the barrel racing.  Rylee placed second in the first round with a time of 16.39.  Then in the final round, Rylee turned in the fastest time of the rodeo with a 15.92 second run.  Rylee finished in second place in the barrel racing for the second week in a row. 

Jessie Morriss also contributed to the women's team effort with a 2.9 second run in the breakaway roping.  Morris finished fourth in the first round of the ladies breakaway competition.

Koty Kamm and Colten Carlson both placed in the first round of the steer wrestling with times of 5.7 seconds.  In the final round, Kamm turned in a time of 8.4 seconds.  That was good enough to place fourth in the round and also in the average.  Carlson turned in a no time in the final round and finished seventh overall for the weekend.

Harry Ash made the short round in the bareback riding after posting a score of 62 points in the first round.  In the short round, Ash recorded a no score and finished seventh in the bareback riding. 

The Odessa College Rodeo Team heads to Vernon, Texas this weekend for the Vernon College Rodeo.
