The Odessa College men's basketball team had to hold on, but ultimately came away with a 78-77 win over Western Texas College Thursday night on the road in WJCAC play.
The Wranglers (21-5 overall, 10-2 in conference) were led by James Reese who had 23 points while Adrean Johnson had 15.
The Westerners (12-11, 4-8) were led by Leland Kirkendoll who had 20 points while Sindou Diallo and Jevon Brown each had 11.
Odessa College led 35-27 at the half but was outscored 50-43 in the second half.
