Wrangler Men drop First Conference game of the Season at Howard

The Odessa College men's basketball team's saw its four-game winning streak come to an end in a 65-56 loss to Howard College Thursday night at the Dorothy Garrett Coliseum in a WJCAC conference game.

It was the first loss for Odessa College (15-4 overall, 4-1 conference) in the calendar year with their last defeat coming in a 83-64 loss to Ranger College back on Dec. 3.

James Reese led the Wranglers in scoring with 16 points while Jordan Pierce had 10 and Dimon Carrigan finished the night with eight points.

The Hawks (11-5, 4-2) were led by Garrick Green who had 17 points while Malcolm Green finished with 11 and Jake Heese had 10.

The Wranglers will be back in action at 7:30 p.m. Monday against Clarendon College at the OC Sports Center.
