Odessa College Holds Off South Plains College In Final Outing Before Postseason

The Odessa College Wranglers defeated South Plains College 83-79 at the Texan Dome on Thursday to wrap up the regular season.

L.J. Figueroa scored 22 points to lead the Wranglers (25-3 overall, 15-1 WJCAC), who finished three games ahead of South Plains (20-8, 12-4) for the conference title. Jermaine Haley scored 18 points for Odessa College with Jahnathan Maxwell adding 10 points and eight rebounds off the bench.

Ben Perez led the Texans with 18 points, followed by William Washington with 15, Jordan Brangers with 12 and Christopher Orlina with 11.
