OC Handles NMMI In Road Win

The Odessa College Men's Basketball team won an important road game last night against New Mexico Military Institute, 94-84, making them 2-0 in conference play.  The Wranglers started out slow, but eventually picked it up half way through the 1st half.  Once OC captured the lead mid way through the 1st half, they never looked back.  The Wranglers were led by L.J. Figueroa who led all scorers with 38 points on 15 of 26 shooting.  OC also had three other players score in double figures in Kejuan Johnson (13), Keandrea Cook (18) and Jahnathan Maxwell (10).  The men will return to action on Thursday, January 11th against rival, Midland College at 7:30pm in the OC Sports Center.
