Q: Who is your favorite professional athlete?

Marlon: "Penny Hardaway (retired NBA player) is my favorite professional athlete.  I have known Penny for many years going back to my AAU basketball days.  Penny has given me valuable advice about life and the hard work it takes to be success on the basketball court.  To this day, Penny and I still communicate and he continues to give me advice and guidance."

Q: What is your favorite food to eat?

Marlon: "My favorite food all time is the orange chicken from Panda Express.  I am grateful that they have one in Odessa, because I can live off of that for the rest of my life."

Q: Who has been your biggest influence in your life?

Marlon: "My Uncle has been my biggest influence.  I grew up in Florida and my uncle saw some of my struggles, and he took me in to his home in Memphis.  My Uncle has given me a life I couldn't imagine and he has pushed me to be the best man and the best basketball player I can be."

Q: What is the biggest difference between OC and WKU?

Marlon: "The biggest difference I noticed immediately is the professors.  My professors have worked with me and helped me every way possible so that I can be successful.  I finished the fall semester with a 3.5 GPA, I wasn't even close to that at WKU.  I give all the credit to my professors and I cannot thank them enough."

Q: What is your favorite part about being an Odessa College Wrangler?

Marlon: "My favorite part about being a Wrangler is my teammates.  My teammates mean more to me than anything and it is like a brotherhood.  It's a good feeling to have knowing I will have lifelong friends after I graduate from here."
