Odessa College Takes Split At New Mexico Military Institute

The Odessa College Wranglers salvaged a split of their WJCAC baseball doubleheader Saturday at New Mexico Military Institute, winning the second game 12-6 after dropping the opener 15-0.

After being blanked on six hits in the first game, Odessa College (15-14 overall, 6-4 WJCAC) totaled 16 in the second. Mason McLenna homered and joined Mitch Holding and Robert Morales in driving in two runs. Morales and Harry Fullerton both went 3 for 5, while McLenna, Holding, Chance Medina and Tresten Kennard each went 2 for 4.

Josef Cihlar (1-0) got the win in the nightcap. Marc Luna (4-2) took the loss in the opener.
