Two OC Baseball Players Awarded WJCAC POW Honors

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of April 30 – May 6.

Tresten Kennard of Odessa College is the WJCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week. The freshman rightfielder and pitcher had a .467 batting average for the week with a double, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored last week.

Matteo Bocchi of Odessa College is the WJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore from Parma went 5 innings in a 11-1 win over No. 11 ranked Midland, allowing just 1 earned run on 4 hits with 4 strikeouts and only 1 walk.
