The Odessa College Baseball and Softball teams took home Western Junior College Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week Honors for the week of April 23rd. 

Noah Brown of Odessa College is the WJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman righthander from Grapevine, TX went 1-0 with one save last week. In two appearances, he pitched 5 1/3 innings without allowing an earned run or a hit. He recorded 9 strikeouts with only one walk.

Cori Turner of Odessa College is the WJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman righthander from Georgetown, TX went 3-0 last week. In four appearances and 16 1/3 innings pitched, she allowed just 3 earned runs on 13 hits with 10 strikeouts and 2 walks.

Both teams will be in action this weekend at Home.  On Friday the Wrangler Softball team will host Western Texas College in a WJCAC double-header starting at 1pm at the Wrangler Softball Complex.  The OC Baseball team will be at home on Saturday when they host NMJC at 1pm at Wrangler Field.
